15 Golden Rules for Kidney Health

Approximately 40% of chronic kidney patients are diabetics, and 30% are hypertension patients. Regular screening and effective treatment for people at risk for chronic kidney failure prevent the progression of the disease. Egemen İşgören ordered the following items for kidney health.

  1. Exercise regularly
  2. Eat healthily and protect your ideal body weight
  3. Reduce salt
  4. Drink an average of 2 to 2.5 liters of water a day
  5. Do not smoke
  6. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption
  7. Do not use painkillers and antibiotics unnecessarily
  8. Learn the causes of stone and urinary tract infections
  9. Follow your blood pressure
  10. Have your blood sugar checked at regular intervals
  11. Consume magnesium-containing foods
  12. Stay away from sodas and sugary drinks
  13. Keep a certain amount of caffeine use
  14. Avoid holding urine in the bladder
  15. Consume cabbage, cauliflower, red pepper, garlic, onion, apple, cranberry, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, cherry, black grapes, egg whites, fish and olive oil
