85-Year-Old Patient Regained Her Health With Cover Prepared From Cattle Heart
85 years old Hanım Yaş who struggle with heart palpitations and shortness of breath for 15 years had a severe aortic stenosis in her heart. Because other doctors said the operation was risky she could not be operated and she came to Okan University Hospital for a remedy.
It was deemed appropriate to attach a heart valve that was removed from the cattle heart and did not require stitching by Prof. Dr. Hızır Mete Alp Cardiovascular Surgery specialist and Salih Salihi Dr. Lecturer. After 45 minutes, the patient got well after this procedure.
