A Job That Makes a Mark on Hearts

Employees of Acıbadem Healthcare Group, celebrating the 2nd week of April every year as Patient Services Week, used the theme of “Making a Mark” during this year’s events. In this celebration organized alongside a variety of activities lasting a week, the Chairman of the Acıbadem Health Group, Mehmet Ali Aydınlar and the Medical Director Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şahin, patient service workers from many hospitals and medical centers, and university students came together at Acıbadem University Conference Hall.

Speaking at the event, Acıbadem Health Group Chairman Mehmet Ali Aydınlar “Education is one of the most important characteristics of the Acıbadem culture that was created in 27 years. We see the Patient Services area as a profession. Therefore, we provide vocational and technical training, as if everyone is working in this field. In 2017, we provided a total of 138 thousand hours of training, which equates to more than 60 hours of training per person per year for patient services. This number is very important as training time,” said. Aydınlar underlined that Acıbadem Group is one of the most important elements that differ from other hospitals and groups is the importance given to education. He added that they came at the beginning of training institutions that give education per person per year in Turkey. Aydınlar expressed that people from different cultures worked together in Acıbadem roof and they tried to combine them and introduce them to Acıbadem culture in a pot and try to make them become individuals of this culture.
