Cause of Male Infertility Has Been Revealed

In a study in China, a gene responsible for male infertility was discovered and potentially it paves the way for new treatments.

From the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology in Shanghai, scientists have discovered that mutations in the human Piwi gene can prevent the development of sperm, which can lead to infertility.
