After quitting smoking;

After 20 Minutes: Blood pressure and pulse are down to normal levels,

8 Hours Later: Oxygen level in the blood is almost normal,

24 Hours Later: Risk of heart infarction begins to decrease,

48 Hours Later: Nerve endings start to renew itself,

Between 2 Week-3 Months: Circulation balance improves, walking becomes easier. Lung function is improved by 30 percent,

1 Month-9 Months: Coughing attacks, fatigue, weakness and breathing briefly are reduced. Lung is cleared to a certain extent and danger of infection is very low,

1 Year Later: Risk of coronary heart disease reduces 30 percent,

5 Years Later: Risk of lung cancer and cardiac infarction reduces by 30% and risk of weasand, pharynx and bladder cancer reduces by 50%.
