Anadolu Health Center Endocrinology and Metabolic Disease Specialist Dr. Serap Yalın emphasized that a food is considered if it has a low glycemic index less than 55, a medium of 56-69, and a high glycemic index of 70. She gave this information.

“As the fruits mature, their glycemic index increases. The glycemic index of figs, bananas, watermelons, melons and grapes is higher than the others and makes hungry more quickly. Fruits such as apple, pear and peach are those with low glycemic index. The consumption of fruits with high glycemic index should be well adjusted.”
