“Energy and protein requirements may vary in every age and period. As age increases, calorie restriction may be required because metabolism slows down compared to youth. Women generally have a higher fat rate than men. That’s why men’s metabolism works faster. During menopause, women’s metabolism fell by a little, they pay attention to the calcium intake; milk, yogurt, cheese, green leafy vegetables should be consumed. Heart diseases are more common in men. For this reason, men need to increase their physical activity with low-fat, sugar-free, fiber-free and balanced diet.”
