Do not Overdo Dried Fruits on New Year’s Eve

Dried fruits come from the indispensable of New Year’s Eve. Olcay Barış, Dietician from İstanbul Aydın University VM Medical Park Florya Hospital warns against extreme consumption of dried fruits.

“Dried fruits cause fat deposition in the body when consumed too much. However, when they consume measurable, it benefits the body and helps speed up metabolism. 10-15 pieces of almonds or hazelnuts or 1 handful of walnuts are enough for your daily needs.”
