Do not Use the Cutting Board Damp

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital Nutrition and Diet Expert İpek Ertan warned about cutting board that is used while preparing the meal.

“The most suitable material for the cutting board is actually glass. But mostly we use wooden and plastic cutting boards. After cleaning cutting boards immediately wash with vinegar and then let it dry process without delay. Because they are a very good environment for the formation of bacteria, especially when the wood cutting boards are moist. If you have a lot of scratches on your board, you absolutely need to sand. Especially, do not use kitchen utensils that you use in raw meats to prepare other foods without washing them well, even if you choose a different cutting board for raw meat.”
