Fruits Helps Digestion

Anadolu Health Center Children’s Health and Disease Specialist Dr. Fatma Ela Tahmaz said that fibers in fruits helps digestion and prevents constipation. She explained apple.

“Apple contains soluble and insoluble fibers. It helps the development of intestinal system. Apple contains vitamin A, C, E, calcium, and folic acid. Certified fruit and fruit juices should be preferred, fruits should be washed with plenty of water and should be consumed by peeling. It may solidify the stool consistency in some babies.”
