Gargle with Green Tea Reduces Dental Erosion
Okan University Dental Hospital Restorative Dental Specialist Assist. Assoc. Dr. Yeşim Şeşen Uslu mentioned the effect of green tea on oral health and dental health.
“According to studies conducted in 2009 and 2010 rinsing, the mouth with green tea reduces dental erosion and abrasion and can be used to prevent dental erosion. Again in 2009, they have shown that green tea enhances tooth hardness and protects against dental erosion. In the light of the scientific studies, it is thought that gargling with green tea has a reducing, preventing effect.
In addition, sugarless drinking of green tea is important in terms of mouth and dental health.”
