Have Breakfast in an Hour After You Wake Up

Memorial Wellness Nutrition and Diet Expert Dyt. Yeşim Temel Özcan said that the biggest problem for the employees is that they skip breakfast or prefer the wrong foods.

“Usually because of preparing breakfast at home seems to be a waste of time they have it at the office. Therefore, on weekdays, indispensable items for breakfast are usually bagels and pastry. However, taking energy in the morning by having breakfast in an hour after wake up, has a great importance. If an hour exceeds, the metabolism slows down and weight gain becomes easier. In the morning, instead of eating pastry it is important to choose healthy options with carbohydrate, fat and protein balances, such as sandwiches made with whole wheat bread, milk oatmeal.”
