Have Your Breakfast 1 Hour After Sleep

Acıbadem International Hospital Nutrition and Diet Expert Özge Gün talked about breakfast, one of the ways to increase metabolism rate.

“Regular feeding for fast metabolism is one of the first rules. You can increase your metabolic rate by 30 percent by eating breakfast within 1 hour after you are awake. Remember that you should stay away from fatty and sugary foods for breakfast. Your breakfast need to include protein (eggs, cheese, milk), quality carbohydrates (whole grain products, oats), seasonal greens and seasonal fruits.”
