How Much Caffeine Pregnants Can Consume?

Obstetrics and IVF Specialist Op. Dr. Betul Görgen gave information about caffeine consumption during pregnancy.

“Overall, accepted limit of caffeine consumption during pregnancy is 200-300 mg / day. in a study conducted in 2008 indicated that daily caffeine consumption above 200 mg could increase the likelihood of misscarriage. There is 47 mg caffeine in 3 cups of tea and 95 mg of caffeine in 3 cups of coffee. Many studies recommended that pregnant women should not exceed 200-300 mg daily caffeine intake.”
