One of two hospitals operated by Bayındır HealthCare Group in Ankara, Bayındır Hospital Kavaklıdere opened its doors in 1998 in an area of 5.500 m2 as a result of increases in the numbers of patients in the outpatient clinics and in the number of operations.
This 22-bed facility has two operating rooms, a three-bed intensive care unit, and 24-hour emergency services, as well as full-time laboratory and radiology units. The hospital currently employs 32 physicians, 9 surgeons, and 135 additional staff members—nearly all speak English, and some Russian, Arabic, French and German.
Bayındır Hospital Kavaklıdere earned JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation with Bayındır Hospital Söğütözü at the same time in 2006 and in the next surveys both of the hospitals passed their surveying period successfully on October, 2009 and 2012.
Bayındır Kavaklıdere is best known for its departments of obstetrics and gynecology, ocular health and disease, oral and dental health and disease, and physical therapy and rehabilitation. Head and neck surgeries are also frequently performed, as are adult allergy testing, dermatocosmetic procedures, and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
