Is Your Office Spine-friendly?

Memorial Wellness Medical Fitness Consultant Murat Biçer gave information about ways to improve physical activity for office workers to stay healthy.

“Office workers often have serious musculoskeletal problems in the upper extremity or spine. Proper ergonomics should be paid attention. Correction of the ergonomics needs to be started by sitting. It is important to support the belly, back, and neck of the used chair. Due to incorrect seating positions, the front compartment muscles that structure on the chest and shoulder are more strained and shorter. People constantly encounter spine and tendon pain. Therefore, office workers need to focus on back and neck exercises.”
