Niger-Turkey Friendship Forest ‘Opened

“İstanbul Friendship Park” in Agadez of Niger and “Niger-Turkey Friendship Forest” in İstanbul were opened simultaneously to ensure unity and solidarity between Turkey and Niger. Niger Ambassador Salou Adama Gazipo, Niger Republic İstanbul Honorary Consul Avni Çelik, İstanbul Forest Region Director Recep Ateş and invited guests attended the ceremony, which was held on 3 August, and celebrated as “Happy Tree Planting Day” in Niger.
