From Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Head of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department Assoc. Dr. Defne Kaya said that Africans have the best foot mechanic because they don’t wear shoes. She gave informations the following advice for healthy foot.
- Reduce the time of wearing shoes during the day.
- Do not use shoes or slippers at home.
- Do exercise in bare feet.
- Run barefoot on all surfaces, including the treadmill.
