Turkey’s Five Airport Shined In Europe

European Airports Council International (ACI) was published July 2015 traffic report. According to the report Ataturk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport ranked first among the airports that has the highest passenger growth in their categories.

According to the report five airport of Turkey has settled European summit. Istanbul Ataturk Airport took second place at Group 1, among the airports welcoming more than 25 million passengers per year. İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport ranked first at the Group 2 amoung the airports welcoming between 10 and 25 million passengers per year. Ankara Esenboğa Airport took third place and İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport took fifth place in the same category.

Trabzon Airport took fifth place in Group 4, amoung airports welcoming less than 5 million passengers per year.
