Turkish robot Avicenna that fascinates the world, provides treatment in kidney stones without cutting or drilling by laser techniques and robotic flexible ureterorenoscopy method. The robot acclaimes too many doctors from Turkey and abroad by far.
Medicana International Ankara Hospital Urology Professor Remzi Sağlam is at the head of the team that developped the robot. He noted that many physicians lined to use the robot from US to Norway, England to Romania and Iran.
“Patient does not have pain after surgery. Thus patient stays only one night in hospital and can return to home and work the next day.” he added.
