Two Giant Step For Turkey’s First Cancer Drug

The compound developed by the team led by Prof. Dr. Engin Ulukaya, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at İstinye University for the cancer drug has received approval from the US Patent Office Directorate.

Prof. Dr. Engin Uluka: “Cancer treatment should now be determined according to the molecular structure of the patient. However, this can be achieved with long life spans because each person’s cancer is different; so every patient needs to use different drugs.”
