Vitamin B2 For Cataract

From Dünyagöz Etiler Hospital Assoc. Dr. Nur Acar said that carrot is an important nutrient for eye health, but not only one.

“Eyes need vitamins like A, C, E and B2. Vitamin B2 that is abundant in liver, fat-free milk, yogurt, cheese, nettle, sage, spinach, fish and green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, legumes and grains have a significant impact on eye health. Vitamin B2 is particularly effective in preventing from cataracts and eye fatigue. In the eyes vitamin B2 deficiency can cause eye diseases such as burning, itching, sensitivity to light and corneal diseases.”
